I don't care if you're a Trump supporter, surely those who voted for him in this poll do not actually believe he won that debate?

Trump supporters are so jaded to the constant political correctness forced upon them that they'll ignore anything negative Trump does while supporting the delusion that if he can change just one thing for the better, no matter what it is, his presidency will be worth it.

Moderator: Trump your two minutes ar...
Trump: *keeps talking and interrupting*

I only saw the first part of the debate unfortunately, so I'm only saying Trump won solely on what I saw. I felt like his arguments for job growth and the economy were much better than Hillary's arguments. However, I don't like Trump or Hillary. I'm more of a Gary Johnson kind of guy myself.

They should complete the madness and get married and rule the world together. Donald and Hilary Trump ftw.

Seriously? You think giving the rich lots of breaks is going to help the economy? You don't see the connection between Trump being one of those people, and his family, and why he might be pushing for that? The problem is all these tax breaks and such that rich would get doesn't get put back into the businesses. It's just pocketed and the only people who benefit are the ones on top.

Am I the only one here who doesn't care about the whole thing at all?

Coco 09-28-2016 03:49 PM

I like how Trump kept changing the subject and taking forever to answer questions vaguely, if not answering them at all. What a trooper.

You're not alone.

I felt that was trump lost his cool Hilliary was able to take over the debate. Trump spent too much time interrupting her and Holt. Hilliary appeared more ready for the debate than he was, often bringing up statistics to back herself up where as trump would just resort to "you're wrong".

However, I do feel the moderation wasn't great. I feel like Trump's issues were a lot more attacked by Lester than hilliarys were. All in all Hillary won the debate, had better zingers, and didn't let trump have much momentum. She did a great job making him play defensive, and she really was able to have control of the debate. Whether Lester helped with that is up to the individual thinking about it

Coco 09-28-2016 06:15 PM

I don't think Lester was on anyone's side.. I'm sure if Hillary kept interrupting Trump, had a lot more issues to discuss other than the emails, went off topic when asked specific questions and denied things that she said regardless of overwhelming proof that she said it...Lester would have done the same to her as he did with Trump.

Not that I think Hillary is perfect...they're both pretty crap, but to say Lester was being bias and obviously on Hillary's side is dumb imo. He may or may not be for Hillary, but I think he was acting appropriately telling Trump to stop interrupting Hillary during her 2 minutes she had to answer questions and repeatedly asking him the same question because he wasn't actually answering it the first few times he asked.

I wasn't even interested in watching the debate, but I got sucked into it because of what a train wreck it was.

"People around the world follow our presidential campaigns so closely to get hints about what we'll do. Can they rely on us? Are we going to lead the world with strength and in accordance with our values?"

The whole bar starting laughing when Hillary said this. She couldn't have been more wrong ; we are following the campaign for a good laugh. You've put forward two of the most hated candidates ever presented and settled with it. There are no winners out of this debate but one loser: America.

You're wrong if you think America is isolated enough that our failures only affect us.

twilit 09-28-2016 09:49 PM

Its kinda funny just how differently they handle attacks.
Hillary is the child who pretends shes sorry to save her image and tries to call it a "mistake."
Trump is the child who thinks he never did anything wrong to begin with and can only defend himself with "youre wrong" "thats not true."
