But they changed the 5k reward to a Hideout but never changed the kiosk info probably because they forgot or were lazy, hence obs has a hideout, but also a robot because admins never took it away.

There will be a new reward coming for 10k, but right now it wouldn't even be smart to get a hideout. Since we are about to get a new tileset and therefore also a new map. Hideouts were abandoned over 2 months ago, but I just got another pm about it. So I reminded people again, since for some reason nobody knew

10k rewards are currently being worked on (idea wise), a hideout will not be possible anymore. I talked to the team about this and we agree. Gun Skin will most likely move down to 5k and 10k will be something new :)

It's just really outdated, Zone scripts are entangled and horribly confusing to update (I don't know how many scripts we had to update for those small maps updates, but they were A LOT)

Does this mean Obs will get their Hideout and Bot removed? since both are no longer a reward.

That is still open for discussion, the reason I decided on removing the hideout option is because if we come up with entire new maps and actual lore and stuff like that, it wont fit in. Also the Hideouts can not be improved or ever changed, so they will be rusty spots in a shiny new armor

Rough estimate on completion?(Last we heard you was getting daily updates of it-so surmise nearly done now)+ rough estimate on map made with it?

Still think 10k deserves a place on map with npc's of players/date achieved etc-Not a hideout though-so people can actually see without hunting down.

Thank God. Firstly, 10k hideout is cool, but requires too much work from staff. Secondly, please change the 5k reward back to the custom pet robot. A gun skin is stupid, and a pet robot is unique to Zone.

I like robot prize aswell although it isn't that encouraging for guilds as they already have pets/they not used that much now-unless it gets an addon of some sort?

The thing is, a gun skin will motivate players to continue their 1ks to 5k hours rather than starting 1k again, again, again and again for hats.
Bots in zone atm are pointless, have like 0 uses apart from bomb sparring, which is full of dust, every now and then players bomb spar.

Well the same can be said for gun skins. But I get what you're saying. When I was trying to get pet robots back as the 5k reward, I suggested letting them be a med or attack bot, but then someone would have to actually balance the med bots, which no one has ever done. I feel like 5k hours of towering is worthy of a bot that doesn't break down. Plus I wanted them to be able to have their own animation, flag, emote, and other simple things like that.

Yeah, but having a med bot that never breaks down seems OP right? even if balanced, med bots will most likely be removed from bases like spring and iricia. Inferring that bots are pointless.

uhhh. 5k is a special melee k. give it auction stats.

1000 hours - Custom hat
5000 hours - Gun Skin of an always available gun (no holiday/auction or event guns)
10000 hours - Still discussed by the team
