those are the ghetto schools

Actually my school is pretty non-ghetto, its actually considered the "rich kid" school in my area.

Its just that my county makes some pretty asinine decisions about the schools like grading policy and days off.

I mean yes we had school shootings but we don't have that many. Isn't like we have one every month. My highschool had a kid bring a letter opener and cut a student. Only bad thing that happen in my highschool or school life. For about what 30 years the school has been open. Even longer

I wouldn't want my kid to grow up in an environment where all of his/her teachers deem it necessary to equip firearms, there should be no guns in school unless it is held by a school/local police officer or security guard

"Lets stop people that use guns for violence with our guns and violence!"

Why is this even up for debate? Guns shouldn't be a thing in schools, if safety is what the situation is increase security.

Because some people are agreeing and disagreeing to this topic. So that makes it a debate.

Pretty lousy debate considering 0 people have given any reason to having armed teachers and staff in their schools.

If a cop is allowed to hold a gun than you should have no problem with a teacher doing so.

Here, read this.*http://thefreethoughtproject.com/wit...ed-man-reason/

And there are more situations like this as well. You can't always trust police officers and keep believing they're some sort o saints or something. You have to see things for what they are and know you can't trust anyone because the minute you turn you back to them, bang, your dead.

I am! I'm not a ghost okay! Sheez!
And I think Illusions agreed to it as well so get your facts straight son!

5hift 06-19-2016 03:28 AM

Lmao, what?

Cops have actual training and protocol to use firearms.

And teachers? Haha, no.

Also, that article you posted is obviously biased since not every police officer is crooked.

A wild cop does something stupid and now every cop is the same?

Well ****, a teacher had a relationship with their student. I guess now all teachers are now *********s.

Colin 06-19-2016 03:29 AM

The specific job of a police offer is to enforce the law and work to protect civilians, I don't think cops need to be stationed in schools to begin with, but if the case is that they are then it makes more sense for them to be the ones to wield firearms as opposed to teachers whose sole job is to teach and nothing more

A police officers life revolves around this sort of a thing, a teachers does not.

You posted an article and added nothing else. GG 10/10 gr8 input.

Illusions just said he agreed and provided no reason or rhyme.

Typical.

Who said you can't train teachers to shoot? They did it in the Walking Dead, so they should be able to do it in schools.

Yes, you should totally have a problem with that. Police Officers' jobs kinda rely on the ability to operate a firearm, teachers are glorified babysitters. Huge difference in qualifications.

Well if that's the case, I need more officers in my school. I think I have only one or two which certainly isn't enough to protect over a thousand of students.

I say let them have guns. Would make some interesting news
