Anyone know what it's drops? Those gold slimes are very profitable if you can manage to find one. Not that many things drop nice golden gralats :D

When i fought it before it only gave me a red gralat.

Yeah rat drops red. Sometimes a blue crab drops a gold gralat... and black snakes... every tiem.

I've killed many a bomb rat in my day, and I've never seen them drop a red gralat. Just a gold gralat or nothing.

Which I'm really not a fan of. Let's face it, it's barely anything given how hard it is to come by a rare spawn. I've long since said that rare spawns should at least have a chance of dropping something special.

I love the concept of rare spawns. But a measly 100 gralats that's not even a 100% drop chance? And now people are saying some are only dropping red gralats? C'mon..

Here's a simple idea: Make rare spawns drop a chest that contains either a random amount of gralats (100-250), a map, or a unique item exclusive to rare spawns (hats, furniture, etc. The rare spawns can share the same drop table, except for one item that would be exclusive to each one: a pet version of the rare spawn. Ie: golden blob pet, bomb rat pet, etc)

If all of that can't be done, then I'd be happy with just the rare spawn pet idea.

Or a loot item... oh, wait!

so has anyone produced conclusive evidence that killing the small blobs around Swamptown speeds up the rate at which the huge blob spawns or can I proceed to laugh at those people as they experience placebo effect

The only wayto make the giant blob spawn is by killing little ones, it's not like before where it spawned randomly at any time.

There was a giant gold slime yesterday around 11:59pm EST - gave gold slime spoils.

I managed to run into one of those Black snakes the other day and even managed to get a gold gralat for dispatching it

Medium-small blobs seem to be important. The midget ones that pop out after you kill one seem to make no difference.

Proof?

Also, how do you spawn the bandit captain?
