I don't know about now, but back in the day in iClassic, Smelly belly and nyn used to be idolized by all the noobs on classic. Those 2 were major attention h03s.
|
I'll tell you what, someone made a squad called "Mangsi Club" for me on Zone.
If that's not staff attention idk what is. The people in it basically didn't even know I existed until I was hired. Now they legit worship me. |

Some staff make it out to be alot worse than it is..
P.s. It all depends on the actually staff member if they're a attentionseeker themselves *showing up with gold name doing effects etcetc to impress Player1*(cough jezzle, skyid, ellybelly to name a few backinday (braces the hate off the fancrews they entertained) or If they stealth most the time and actually patrol and do events they less likely to be spammed and have lot of chat to go through.. and thats coming from working on two ios servs. |

If you're new to it all, showing off or whatever is fun in the beginning
Then you start to mature, and it bites you back in the ass |
i sit in the start visibile with staff tag off and i don't get bugged to often. Its when you interact with them then you get a lot of attention.

How to get attention from players:
Step 1 : Make your status professional and say that you're staff Step 2 : Go afk somewhere around the map and say "working on levels for this server" Step 3 : Expect to receive a huge amount of pm's from players telling you their personal info, spamming you, swearing, begging to be admin, etc. Step 4 : Get jailed for pretending to be a staff |
Step 5: Get unbanned repeat step 1

"convinced a bunch of players"
*looks at pic* *sees 2 people, one of which is his friend* |
You get attention because everyone wants free stuff or to try and become staff. It is very easy to tell the people who are just pming you to try get on your good side from the ones who don't. Very rare to find though as 60% of messages are asking for stuff, the other 35% being players asking to ask a question which usually leads to asking for stuff, and 5% of people just saying what they need help with.
Being 'worshipped' just makes your job harder. Asking to ask a question is probably what annoys me the most because then I have to reply to them and say what is your question, and then wait for an answer, to then answer to, whilst also having 20 other people doing the same thing, and it just turns into a never ending loop of pming back and forth between all these people, and I can't move on to anyone else. I also don't like being pmed just hello, because I have found 80% of the time it just leads to, how are you, can you give me a doll. Anyway, yea nobody has ever given me their address/phone number etc, what is your skype or kik is probably the only thing i've seen pop up which I just ignore, so I find your story hard to believe, especially as the area you are in, in the photo almost nobody goes to Having said all this i'm actually one of the lucky few who receives less attention, but still enough that it does make some things difficult. I've been staff on era for over 2 years now and I still get people asking me whether i'm new or that they've never seen/heard of me before lol Quote:
