Ahhh, thought you meant the player themself can give themselves a proper account name. I get it now

I like this. I don't see why anyone would be against this as it is a private thing that only you can see. I would love to tag everyone in spar with a quick note on whether they're lagging or not, then I can go in without being surprised.

yeah but its gonna take a long time to give a name to everyone.
why cant we just have a permanent name? and we can have nickname displayed next to it.

pretty good idea tho. but if they can, i would go with the permanent publicly displayed name.

Nah people cant stand staying as "Billybob" because they cant take the same name. It'd be better with the nickname being displayed next to your real username but the username is changeable.

You'd still be able to change your name... Only the person that tagged you would see something like "Your name (Shadowfox)", that way if you change your name or w/e the person will still know who you are

This would suck for the people that like to start a lot of crap and then change their name.

Don't really see the need for this, if you can't remember someone he/she is probably just not worth remembering for you.
