thats how the world works maybe? we never required to take law classes but we are expected to follow every single one of them, plus the laws irl are even more complicated

The problem with adding "rules of the game" is that it creates more problems for the moderation staff. Players will try to be sneaky and work around the rules for the sake of being ******s. They will use the "it's not on the rules" excuse to get away from punishment. Just how players always try to get around the upload rules(including me).

I do agree that they should have some type of rule system in place, but it should be seen as a starting point for moderation and not the end.

No rules means nobody knows so the staff can ban whoever they think is breaking the "rules".

I saw some kid speedhacking/boosting and using macro's at the same time, yet there's people getting banned for the word ****.

The way I see it is that whoever hired the individual to be a gp must of felt confident on the players ability to use good judgement and moderate within a acceptable standard.

Edit: I came to say common sense came in handy, but then I remember it wasn't that common :D

To be honest, I never really had any problems with staff abuse or ******ed moderation. The one time I got banned was because I cussed the guy out when I knew he was watching me on stealth mode(but that was personal) I used to constantly talk crap about the games progress/destination on my status and never had any warnings. The only time I had one removed was by florida orange and that was also personal.
