LOL^ ****in figures...

But apparently Nintendo won't be making F2P apps so hopefully we can rule out IAPs from their games.

I dont understand nintendos always been Exclusive to its consols
a nintendo phone may happen though

The mobile phone gaming market is MASSIVE only people seem to see it as a giant cesspool of F2P, P2P, and P2W nonsense.

It has so much potential but only greedy developers seem to take part in it. Hopefully it takes big triple A title games like Mario to show the world that mobile gaming is more than a joke.

nintendont put their games on mobile
in my opinion the only reason nintendos consols can compete vs others is their games
and if its not exclusive to their consols we will have a problem

the only thing ill be ok with is zelda online on steam

Wtf, whats wrong with putting games on different consoles?

If console games can be put on PC then I really don't see what the big deal is with putting them on mobile.

How do you know its only coming to Apple? Why not to the playstore? I know DeNA has apps in the playstore

I only know that they are going to release it on AppStore, not sure about PlayStore but that can happen. Nintendo wont tell where exactly they are going to release or what NX is, we have to wait.

I just hope they don't screw up the Zelda series when they bring it to mobile

5hift 03-19-2015 06:59 PM

If they happen to do a port of Majora's Mask to mobile they can have my bank account.

Hugop 03-19-2015 07:16 PM

You can play 3DS games on your mobile using a laggy 3DS emulator :D

Dusty 03-19-2015 07:18 PM

LOL. Yes, let's turn a mobile phone into an immobile massive controller.

Pretty sure that was a flop. I am well aware of the many attempts to merge the mobile and gaming market with physical input, but none of them have succeeded.

Nintendo joining the mobile market may be a good thing for the mobile market, pushing hardware to take physical input into consideration... but I highly doubt it. I'm only expecting Nintendo to make touch-friendly games specifically made for mobile gaming, rather than porting their other console/handheld games and undermining the one hardware field they're dominating in.

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED MY NINTENDO GAMES ON MY IPHONE WITHOUT DEALING WITH A ROM THAT ALWAYS CORRUPTS AND FAILS AND STUFF

Let's see super mario world :) oh and chrono trigger!

Too be fair, you could always keep the controller disconnected and in your bag until you want to game some. It actually seems pretty cool to me, and phones had pretty good processing and graphics nowadays

Something I really like about Nintendo are the games. They have good quality games that could beat most of the games on the AppStore/PlayStore and their consoles produce better quality of graphic. If NX is going to have that kind of quality, I would buy one for sure :)

But at the same time, I have the feeling that Nintendo is going to end like SEGA
