Good idea, but instead of real money and junk why not have a entry fee of bombs in a farm such as 100-200 bombs for a team? This would make alot more people participate. 1st place gets 75% of the farm, 2nd place gets 25%. This is a great alternitive instead of paying real money to play.

I think it's a good idea on paper, but I think it would play out with many problems.
1. Sarah got DQ 2 GST's ago for lagging(she was using the wrong wifi) and that wouldn't be possible with a player made tournament.
2. The player that monitors the spar would have to be someone that is unbiased and understand the difference between delay/lag/acceptable lag/excessive lag(gl finding enough of those in iClassic)
3. If a team wins and then is DQ by the match observer it's going to create a lot of problems.




Your best bet would be to pay fp4 to host the tournaments. 50% of the registration for him and the rest for the winner and runner up. Bragging rights is better than money or a pixel hat.


64 teams x $10 per entry = good chunk of change for 4 hours of hosting.

Gonna do a trial run with no money involved to work out the kinks and get used to the tourney system. If someone is lagging really bad there will an agreed upon rule. If someone is abusing delay or lag they will be banned from the tournament and possibly other future tournaments using a voting process by the leaders. This will be an extremely democratic tournament where majority vote is how things will be decided. This tournament will also start off small with 8 teams.

I think the idea was maybe 10 teams max. Note again that this was intended for the serious players, not just another GST.

Involving money/kinda gambling is a great way to have an entertainment. Also makes people take this serious than maybe just a random tourney.

and like i said 5 bucks a guild is very doable and the risk reward is minor

real money and Graal don't mix in the first place, but this guy would sure as hell be the last person I'd trust it with even if it did

It's impossible to like you dude, you're just so negative. I will not be responsible for any of the money. If you read anything in this thread which i'm positive you did not, there will be a neutral agreed upon party that if money does become apart of this tournament people will feel comfortable about knowing this person will act responsibly with it. Regarding my graphics if someone is interested in buying something I put time into that's great. If they don't want too that's fine. That's that.
