Dragonar Academy - Seems like a reverse role 'Familiar of Zero' to me. The main character is just waaaay too nice.

Kamigami no Asobi - Reverse Harem! I actually might watch this for a bit... I hope the different culture gods fight eachother.

The World is Still Beautiful - I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed this first episode. Dunno what I liked about it, it was just an enjoyable watch.

Daimidaler: Prince vs Penguin Empire
- The name is fun, but the concept is just over used and boring to me. However, I did like the baddies' 'reverse tails'.

Majin Bone- Saw it on Crunchyroll and had nothing else to do, so I watched it... Huge waste of my time... Bored outta my mind.

The Kawai Complex - Seems like a pretty generic Rom Com. I might watch it eventually when I have finished other, already established Rom Coms.

The Irregular at Magic High School- This one has me all giddy, as a big fan of the light novels. Unfortunately, I'm way too giddy to actually watch it. Once I actually watch it, then I can no longer be excited about looking forward to it.

Man none of those I've even tried to watch, I have an anime to watch with 3 seasons x_x

Brynhildr in the Darkness - First Episode really caught my interest. The opening sequence with the dead/living girls hints at some strange happenings in the future. I am curious as to what all is goin' on. I agree with GlazeyB that things looks promising for this show, but turning into a (silly) Harem would be unfortunate (Wikipedia says the series is a harem, which is fine with me as long as it keeps the serious tone)

Furthermore, Crunchyroll's translators: 'That angle is amazeballs'.
Heh, nice.

Dragon Ball Z Kai (2014) - Was very nostalgic, not much difference just going to expect they will add more episodes from the mange into the series.

Kai follows the manga more closely. Cuts out the filler from the original run too.

No Game No Life Episode 1 - Amazing first episode, I love where this anime is headed toward. Although I wish it was a single main character we have two siblings, not really a sign I want to see as they are together. The main protaginist seemed a bi evil toward the end, but that's the type of characters I love ex. Code Geass Anyway I love the ED song and animation provided. Lots of jiggle effects lol. Love the art and plot so far.

No Game No Life - It reminded me quite a bit of 'Problem Children Are Coming From Another World Aren't They?'. I didn't really like the character introductions to 'prove' that they are 'overpowered' at games, but fortunately, characters only have to be introduced once. After that, I'm really liking it. Thought it was kinda funny how the world has robbers, but even they have to play a game to 'rob' you.

So I found out why I loved the brocon for Irregular at Magic School.

Ayase's VA from Oreimo does her. <3

I've just waited instead of watched the anime's coming out, Ive been thinking to unsubscribe this thread because I kinda think it ruins the feeling of the anime if you dont watch it yourself so... CYA

One Week Friends

I'm worried about the budget they were given. There's almost no backgrounds (just a big white blur). I feel like the story isn't going to be that great either, character designs seem to be lacking as well.

But as far as first impressions go, it has potential. Hopefully after a few episodes, it'll get rolling.

Brynhildr In The Darkness

If this doesn't turn into Harem In The Darkness, I feel like it has the possibility of being one of the stand out animes of this season. Character designs are good. Story is interesting.

Captain Earth
The **** is going on. If someone starts throwing galaxies, I'm done. I liked it though, but I'm not going to expect much from this series. Kid can poop out rainbows if he wants though.

Blade and Soul
It was okay, the start was a little slow and combat was short. Like Captain Earth, not expecting much. Characters seem bland.

Irregular At Magic High School

This one wasn't on my lists, but I'm glad I added it. The fights scenes are really well done and the use of magic is different from the usual term magic. Characters seem interesting, love the bro-con little sister.

Is The Order a Rabbit
KAWAII KAWAII KAWAII

Nanana's Buried Treasure

I have a feeling a couple of good twists are going to come from this story, really enjoyed the first episode.

Mekakucity Actors

Interesting art style, fresh. Story was a little vague about the the main plot point in the first episode, little random at times.

No Game, No Life

Definitely one of the series I'm expecting to be better than average, good first episode. Established the characters and their ability.

Hitsugi no Chaika
This show is going to get way more gorey if they did that to a unicorn. Looks like a decent action anime.

Black Bullet

This one is my most anticipated show of the season. I see only good things.

Blah64 04-22-2014 03:47 AM

Mekaku City Actors felt very similar to the monogotari series, except less pausing, and things make sense in English. I like the stylistic approach.

I looked up info on the show after watching. Apparently it is made by the same people, which would explain the similar feeling. Found out that it is also the anime adaptation of the 'Kagerou Daze' franchise, which is hugely popular in Japan. I've wanted to read the light novels, but they ain't in English, (only listened to/read subtitles for a few of the songs) so I'm definitely gonna be watchin' this, even though the show feels completely different than the songs they are based off of.

Ping Pong The Animation
This series has been my joke for before the release of this season. The art is just really bad, but the story on the other hand is quite decent and I enjoy it. It's kinda like Aku no Hana (Flower of Evil) where the story is good, but the art is just bad in so many levels.

Mangaka to Assistant-san
The level iof Ecchi is high in this series, but it's gave me a lot to laugh. The main character is voiced by the same guy who did Kirito, so it's kinda weird seeing a totally opposite character with the same voice.

Kanojo ga Flag
Being a fan of the manga I enjoyed this so far, though it felt a bit faster paced compared to how I read it. If you have seen the 15-so minute preview they released in March, you'd probably be watching this after seeing the cliffhanger they left in the preview.

Aku no Hana's art was based off live action footage.

Which means she (he?) on the right was a real person:
