Use hat stands in the meantime... come see in my house :)

I would like to see the hat stands go down in price as well as some of the other pieces of furniture.

I wouldn't mind seeing a shower that actually sprays out water and maybe some type of walls to better section off houses and create our own rooms.

Might as well get toilets that flush then, too!

Edit - Another idea I had was a device like a PA system (or command/chat button) to send a message to everyone in your house/guild house. Sometimes you want to talk to everyone there, but can't manage to get them all in one screen... And often they aren't all from your guild!!!

I know it wont happen but I thought it would be cool to have a furniture item like a magic fountain in your house. When you touch it you can change the color of your hat if its one of those hats that was released in multiple colors or variations. For a small fee of course.

Just think about it. I'm sure lots of you where like me oh I bought this blue dragon cap I should have gotten the red one. You don't wanna pay for 2 hats of the same design but different colors because of the cost and you want your gralats for other stuff. So how about giving us an odject that would change it for us but a fee like changing the look of your house?

A layering option would be nice too. You buy a carpet thinking the furniture will fit on top of it, and the carpet covers the item.
Am I missing something here?
Because I just started playing this game again. I don't remember them old golden carpets (from 2009 or so) doing that at all.

YES PLEASE. I hate it how my tables go UNDER my rugs x_x

I want a chess/checkers board that let's you play those respective games with your Graal buddies.

This ^^^

They should make all layers in tiers of three. In every furniture option you'll be able to choose the layer tier it goes under. Tier I, is the bottom tier. This is the tier you use for items like the rug so they don't go over the table. Tier II will be used to go over furniture objects in Tier I. Ie. the rug is Tier I, the table is Tier II. Tier III objects, you guessed it, are able to go over Tier II objects. So let's say you bought one of those snazzy crypt candles while they were on sale. You set down your Tier I rug, you place your Tier II table over it, and on top you set your Tier III candle. Now, in order to keep consistent, Tier I objects should be able to go above Tier III objects, because if you're like me and you like to build things, having a cap at Tier III would become a pain in the ass not being able to continue after stacking three pieces of furniture. Also, the object that is on top should always be the one that gets selected first when touched. We've all had that one moment where we had to flip a table over, just to move the object that was on it. I think that about covers my idea on how to make that layering system. Feel free to point out any flaws found within it.

Graal only has 4 accessible layers for NPCs, and only ONE of those four layers draw under the players are ALL times(layer 0). This leaves very little room to be flexible with how things render in what order, especially for things on the ground like rugs and tables. The only way to decide the order of things on the same layer is extremely hackish.

I wouldn't be opposed to players be able to have a choice in the matter of how their NPCs layer though. But players will soon be annoyed in the same way scripters are with how limiting the layers are.

twilit 11-07-2013 03:51 AM

So Im guessing theres no way to easily add layers yourself.
Its also annoying how some furniture pieces that share the same layer (like rugs and railroad), the rug will cover half the railroad, but then the railroad protrudes up from the middle of the rug.
