Man, I won't have any time this week to watch anything and this is on my list.

Hadzz 09-25-2013 09:23 PM

What is this?

Van Canavi 09-25-2013 10:29 PM

Everything changed when the southern water tribe attacked....

I really like all the character development going on:
Spoiler
Korra maybe isn't getting much, but it is exploring the dynamic of her attitude issue conflicting with being the avatar. It's also exploring the issues of sheltering her, and the tensions going on with her family. More importantly, they're developing Aang's children, and implying that Aang possibly wasn't all that great of a dad.

Spoiler
What I'm liking the most so far is the focus on the balance between the emerging modern world and the connection to the spirit world. I wasn't really a fan of the whole equalists deal in the first season, so this is an improvement. It's starting to seem more like an actual sequel to ATLA, which is why I started watching it in the first place.

The episode(or episodes, I should say. It was a two-part special) was amazing.

Goddamn the animation in this episode of Korra is amazing. Everything moves so fluid and looks like paintings from feudal Japan. Really loved the past two episodes. Definitely the best of the Korra series so far. I hope they can keep it up!

How many episodes are currently out?

Wow, that many already? I'm ashamed as an Avatar fan to have not started it yet. No one has been mentioning it to me surprisingly, so it slipped my mind. Maybe I'll wait for a few more episodes to come out and marathon it a day.

THAT WAS THE LEGEND OF KORRA I'VE WANTED.

Spoiler
Might just be me picking out stuff, but at the end shot of Korra flying away - was that the same beach/lion turtle that Aang met in AtLA?

Vivid 10-19-2013 12:39 PM

Hey, I used to LOVE the old episodes when like Aang went around but, he's dead now so.... Idk.
I'm not really attached to Korea the same, but it's good too. I watch it sometimes. (WHO IS THE MOTHER?!?)

haruka 10-19-2013 01:41 PM

Just finished the most recent episode and it was amazing

Spoiler
I really enjoyed seeing the origins of how the Avatar came to be. Wan's battle with the dark spirit was a really good way to end it.

Livid 10-19-2013 05:16 PM

Cant wait, I never missed an episode. I love Korra she's so unique and I wanna see what happens after all that intense drama at the end of season 1.
