when iZone stops taking iEra content, reskining it, uploading it and calling it "new" then it will get somewhere. I will give props to Tashkin however, he's doing a great job considering what he was left with after Matt.

I've got to say, Tashkin is a great manager. Pretty sure Zone willdo just fine.

It has also been a fun 8 months for me. I know as long as the player count isn't 20, Zone will survive.

It's funny, because all these things Zone is 'taking' from Era aren't entitled to Era.

Ex: Era isn't the ONLY server that gets to have an EC Shop, they may have been the first to have such a thing, but they do not own the idea. It can be remade and fixed around to be original on a different server.

It was fun when the player count was 40. Showdown was easy, basing was relatively easy if you could get 5 other people with you, events were easier than now, parts were more common.

I guess with more players the content we have isn't enough to hold them all. Like, there are only so many bases, ships to repair, broken parts on the ground, events being held, and lotteries.

^this is the truth. Just because Era has it doesn't mean a thing. Everything Zone has that is also on Era doesn't mean a thing. Think about it, at least 1000 other games that have a shop that you use rewards to purchase cool games are out in the world so gtfo.

Actually, I was more hinting at the fact of re-attracting the players that passed zone off as an iEra reskin, which, as you add more and more of iEra's old content, it essentially is an iEra reskin. Also, a lot of the events themselves are just clones of iEra's along with the "new" jobs.
The one thing I liked about iZone were the pets and the bomb spar as I could not partake in those activities on any other iServer. The content that is new and unique to the server is what will end up attracting a new audience or even pull some players away from iEra. Why switch from iEra to iZone when it's essentially the same and iEra is developed further?

Again, I state Tashkin is doing his best with the hole Matt gave him, and he's doing great. But new content that cannot be found on another server is what attracts new players. So Anarchy, I send your "gtfo" back at you.

Though I did read your previous post, I was trying to say that people should stop saying that Zone copied a lot from Era (which some has been, well I guess the word 'some' is exaggerating) I mean most things in Era can be seen in tens of thousands of other games so there is no point in saying "Zone copied from Era"

Tbh a lot of systems zone has are directly from era, just changed to fit the theme; ship repairs, metal detecting, dolls, events, mining. Jester is right on this one, I dont think he is really hating on zone or saying zone is just ripping content from era, so you can stop being so defensive. :)

Zone didn't copy iEra, they just copied their scripts and sometimes modified them. Take it the way you want, offended or not but iZone clearly lacks originality.

We could draw a list of what was already on another server PLUS who made the scripts, either Zone or the others. You would shut the **** up after.

The only thing I like about iZone are the robots, showdown and bomb spar because it is the most attracting reason to play it (otherwise than events).
