Just a quick note: If you haven't noticed already, App Trailers and AppRedeem are both scams.

The apps can be counted as adware; unwanted advertising. They are paid by other providers to advertise their apps in the hopes of tricking you into buying them.

How this works is that they attract victims into downloading them by offering rewards such as Amazon, PayPal, or iTunes vouchers. In return, you must watch a certain amount of trailers or download a certain number of their apps (these usually contain yet more advertising), as well as refer other users to download them (hence, increasing the audience).

By doing these, you accumulate points. However, you need a huge amount of points before you can claim a gift, which means watching a lot of trailers, buying a lot of apps, and tricking a lot of other people into joining this system.

When you do manage to acquire a gift code, it will turn out to be an invalid code, or sometimes they will say you need to do yet more advertising for them, hence restarting the cycle again.

Please don't fall into this trap. >_<

knew it. nothing is free, no way that they would be able to generate enough revenue from the trailers to be able to give the codes, its just another clever crook making money off gullible people that fall for the trap.

it seems like some users can get it to work, other times it doesnt, maybe it only gives a valid code sometimes, or maybe theres a glitch in the system from people abusing it.

You dont actually need to download the apps for points, but ya ur right its still a scam one way or another.

Lol MSM already got an itunes giftcard from it.

This is legit actually.. I just claimed my $10 iTunes code, and it worked :P
So this is not a scam. At first I thought it was, until I got 1,000 points and actually used them to get the $10 code. This is legit !

I honestly don't think this is a scam. If they make you buy apps then yese it's a scam, but all you have to do is watch videos. They probably get paid a lot just to show videos of other apps on their app so they can definitly afford the rewards.

The way I see it, it can't have 5 stars in the App Store if it was a scam.

Cat612 11-15-2011 07:24 AM

Most of the apps are free anyways, I've already got like $5 on PayPal, it's legitimate.
