Spoiler
|
Detective Conan (fantastic! This is probably one of my favorites.)
Toriko (HD if possible... mmm...) Samurai Champloo One Piece Death Note Squid Girl (for some reason I find it funny) Soul Eater Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood Gurren Lagann |
I'll check out Mirai Nikki. Thanks for all the great responses everyone. I heard good things of guilty crown too. I look forward to watching these :D
|
I recommend (since most of you said the one I was about to recommend) Devil Survivor 2 The Animation
|
Full Metal Alchemist, probably Brotherhood version(though I never felt anything was wrong with the original even though I've read the manga. It creates its own plot and it's a pretty decent one).
|
sailor moon stars and the rest of the sreies
|
Pretty much the ones I can remember off the top of my head
Spoiler
Out of my list the ones I really enjoyed had to be Zetsuen No Tempest, Durarara, Guilty Crown, Shinsekai Yori, Steins Gate, Darker Than Black... After saying these ones I realized, I pretty much like everything that I've listed lol. |
Fairytail and Hunter x Hunter is pretty good

I stopped watching Monster just to see what Angel Beats was like. I definitely don't regret it. If you have spare time, I suggest you watch it since it is a relatively short series. (13 episodes and an OVA)

People say the manga is a masterpiece and the anime is good too. I also heard they're making it an HBO live series too so it can't be that bad. I just need an opinion before I dive into the 70+episodees. |
Death Note and Monster are two totally different animes, although they do share very similar aspects. We have our protagonist, and out antagonist; both of which aspire very different beliefs and opinions. You might find this quite similar to the rivalry of L and Yagami, as the air between both character's are more similar than you think.
I paused the series at episode 20ish, so I can't give as much detail as you probably would've liked. Nevertheless, I suggest you give Monster a shot. Overall, Monster has a solid storyline and character development, and you get something new every episode. Although you may get lost if you don't follow along carefully! :) |
My sister recommended Persona 4 to me recently. I'm still currently watching it, but I think it's really good so far.

I watched Monster quite a few years ago and its a long series but it has no filler. I enjoyed it.
