Don't forget that every player has a choice whether or not to participate in the quests. If the hat is not sufficient "reward" to participate then don't; however, then also don't complain that Era has become boring and needs new quests or activities. It is unfortunate reading the forums that there appears to be so much negativity around the very creative effort and hours of hard work some staff members put in to deliver these experiences. Constructive criticism is always good but rude commentary does nothing to motivate those individuals who work hard on our behalf, voluntarily contributing their time and talent in an effort to entertain the Era population. There seems to be a group of individuals who quite honestly, I don't understand why they still play if the game makes them as miserable as their comments in the various threads suggest. I have to wonder if even the most exceptional of efforts would ever be sufficient. I realize everyone is entitled to their opinions and that is the beauty of these forums; however, how you present your opinion can make all the difference in the world to those who genuinely gave it their all to deliver a fun and engaging experience. Okie, vent over. Enjoy the quest or don't, to each their own.
