I've never seen Fairy Tale, but if the action in the anime is consistent I'd probably enjoy it. Bleach kept it up for over 100 episodes, but there were times of extreme disappointment such as the number one Espada member being too weak.

Fairy Tale? plea tyler, plea.

Id say that Fairy Tale is pretty decent in the action section of anime, they make pretty much all the antagonists seem overpowered (they are at times) but the one thing that does bother me is that they always end up being beaten by the same characters over... and over... and over again.

It was called episode 14.5 for a reason.

I really didn't wanna see a recap at all and rather they continue the story. If I wanted to see a recap I would have looked back at the episodes which in my opinion is more enjoyable.

How is The Seven Deadly Sins so far? I'm planning on watching it real soon.

Thats a new one to me, care to explain what it's about

Yeah fairytail went some directions I didn't like.

The first 50 episodes were pretty great. Some good feel good moments, some intense action moments, a good amount of mystery and shadowed characters. Laxus arc was great- if not for the story, the action.

However, past this 50 episode mark, many of the arcs were mediocre and some were painfully boring and felt like they needed to be skipped. Excluding the edolas arc of course, because that felt like the best thing that ever happened to the animes. Seriously, such a weird twist haha.

I also liked the S-class mage tournament. The villain was beaten in a way that was frankly stupid, but it tied together some lose ends and
Spoiler
the return of laxus was great.

Some of the worst parts of the anime has to be the entire infinity clock story. Ever since that elvis jello guy came in I just hated the rest. Not a good plot. The country guild tournament was pretty good, but it felt prolonged. It really took forever to get through that. There was so many sections they had to cover.

In short they could've made the anime much greater without adding such things

Yeah lol. I have seen the whole series (although I haven't finished watching the last dragon arc because I got bored and gave up right before they started fighting the dragons.

I just wanted to kinda summarize how I felt about everything that I remembered while watching.

All of the episodes and arcs and short stories give it a real feeling of a fairytale though. hence the name.

I wish netflix would add more episodes (and I wish funimation would dub more)

Livid 10-16-2014 03:57 AM

Fairy tale all together began to fail when they added unneeded characters and such, I eventually dropped it and I might watch it again maybe.

Besides that has anyone else enjoyed the gore, horror, and mystery anime Another.

You should watch Shirobako to learn about the anime industry. There is one reason for this explained in the first episode. To release the recap episode allows the anime studio to have an extra week to work out any kinks in the later on episodes, like unfinished animations. It also allows the staff a bit of a break since they pretty much work the whole time the anime is being aired until the last episode.

Was gonna reply with Kirito's quote of not watching it yet, but nah.
It's about a time a few years after a war and supposedly the Holy Knights have eliminated the Seven Deadly Sins which were known as the strongest warriors. You start in a small bar own by what looks to be a 12 year-old. A knight in rusted armor ends up in his bar and reveals to be a girl looking for the seven deadly sins, because in recent cases the Holy Knights have been acting up and have attacked all notabilities and villagers.

Sounds like Samurai 7, I'm really interested it seems more in the times than in the samurai ages.

Don't you mean the glorious death filled of nonsense that you can literally die laughing at Another? Glazey has.

Glazey hasn't. Glazey has been too lazy with smite patch, wow patch, and other anime to start something on the list.
