Doing a small questionnaire at my college during the week through our email system, and I have been asking a couple students questions. Gotten around to 20 so far and the questions were straightforward, and simple.

Who are you voting for? About 7 of them were undecided while about 4-5 were for trump and the rest for Hillary.

Asked them who you think will most likely win, and the undecided voters said Hillary without a doubt. One explained to me that on election day if they were still undecided they would go for Hillary just because Donald still hasn't convinced them to go for them.

This is probably a reason for everyone who is undecided. Donald has a chance, but the way the debates have been for him he hasn't shown, or brought anything new to the table for most voters to even accept him. I had one guy tell me if Mitt Romney was running he would have probably destroyed Hillary especially in the debates.

Hillary-"let me side-step all of the questions that make me look bad"
Trump-"allow me to answer every question with an attack on Hillary"
Hillary-"let me astound them with facts!"
Trump-"it's a tremendous mess"
Hillary-"Donald had a gifted childhood. I started Poor as dirt like the rest of America"
Trump-"Our inner-cities are dead, you walk to the store and get shot"

I swear, it's the same dialogue/strategies over and over again.

Some dislike Clinton while some dislike Trump. But I think we all agree on disliking Nickelback.

I'd really like to know how they were chosen over other candidates.

Mike Pence seems like a better choice than Trump, even though the guy is apparently racist as well.
Bernie Sanders would have been better than Hillary, from what I have seen.

Didn't Bernie say that Hillary Cheated? Wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened against Trump.

I don't like either candidate after all these past debates, I do think Hillary would be more tolerable, but who knows.

I don't know why or where you got that he was racist. I would like to see examples if you know of any, though.

I'm not sure if Bernie actually accused Hillary Clinton of cheating, because he doesn't seem like that type of person. However, there was a lot of controversy around Super Delegates, which essentially rigged the election in favor of Hillary Clinton, but she herself had nothing to do with super delegates. Then emails released of the DNC criticizing Sanders and basically supporting Clinton, which they definitely shouldn't, but I don't think there was any action that would justify saying Clinton cheated. As for Trump, there's about 0 chance he cheated to win the primary. The DNC didn't like Sanders, and he lost. The RNC didn't like Trump, but he won. Trump definitely didn't have the support of the RNC to even allow cheating in favor of him.

I think Trump at least has a chance to change the way government works, setting precedent for non-politicians to come into politics, changing the election process as a whole. Although, the more I hear him talk, the less I believe any change would happen if he wins.

The media makes him out to be racist. Idk though, this video doesn't really represent that. Just because he said "that mexican thing", my guess is he meant that Tim Kaine kept bringing up the same topic, which is why he said illegal aliens, and not specifically mexicans.

The guy doesn't agree with trump for a lot of things, which would make him a better president than Trump, imo.

There were wikileaks that the primaries were rigged, but clinton stated in the 3rd debate that Russia was behind leaking false emails?

There is a video, but it could be fake as well, who knows. It's hard to trust any candidate at this point, since each of them has lied about things they have done/said.

No they aren't fake, she is spinning this huge conspiracy about how Russian hackers are rigging the election for Trump (they aren't).

The e-mails aren't fake, WikiLeaks has had them for a while now and they come directly from her server. They have leaked thousands of validated government documents they wouldn't pull a stunt like this and ruin their reputation.

"It's illegal for you to read about us doing illegal things"

Did you notice that Megyn Kelly is changing her support from Clinton to Trump?

Thallen 10-22-2016 07:32 AM

Pointing out the obvious corruption of their campaign doesn't really reflect taking sides, but I think Megyn Kelly is pretty neutral and if she was put to it then she'd be voting for Clinton I'm pretty sure

Also, response to the PV video:

Basically "it's fake"
How? It's the two DNC operatives in the video, the two people were fired (or resigned, whatever). What's fake?

"I urge extreme caution in drawing conclusions about anyone's character based on a few hours of having looked at this video."
That's the response to video evidence. Meanwhile, we're crucifying Donald Trump and he's losing numbers in a general election over calling a fat girl fat. Holy ****.

tzp 10-22-2016 04:49 PM

I'm voting for Clinton. Not that my vote matters. But if you'd like to hear why, it's because in my strict opinion, she would run the country better than Trump.

Corruption is a KNOWN thing in the Government. Whatever perspective you look at it, most "corruption" is for the benefit of the US. How do I know? Because I guarantee I'm the only one on Graal that has ever worked with or dealt with foreign and domestic relations and classifieds in support of the US Government. During my service, Hillary has traveled and visited over 40 countries to build diplomatic relations with as the Secretary of State. "Hillary's corrupt, oooo" Seriously. Our intel agencies, our military, all have aggressive deplorable methods used in the defense of our nation. And I should add that EVERY country does the same as well.

You think the "Cold War" between Russia is over? No. It has never ended, and living in Moscow, Russia myself for 8 months, the negative stigma against the US is REAL, and the government classifies the US as "Main Target".

Believe what you will, but Trump doesn't know how to build bridges between countries. He only knows how to burn them with this ideology of self-preservation. Make "America great again" or "changing our corrupt government" is the most ridiculous vague statement that it borderlines genius on how it rallies up those likewise ignorant.

"Oh but Hillary deleted emails blah-blah-" Do you know the context behind her actions? Or WHY she hasn't gone to jail for it? It's not corruption because our information is often times shared with our ally foreign intel agencies (this should be common knowledge for civilians thanks to Wikileaks). This government "corruption" that everyone speaks about so ignorantly, has no idea of the implications it has on national security of the citizens. And EVERY country has this same corruption, while not publicized.

It is idiotically idealistic to think safety and security runs parallel to constitutional rights. NSA "invades" privacy of every communication system in the US that transmits across our borders, and for what? To invade the constitutional right of privacy for citizens or to proactively avoid another terroristic or criminal threat? Corruption in whatever context, is a NORM. Stop jumping on this bandwagon ideology because Trump isn't going to stop it, once he learns of how all our agencies work behind the scenes, he will without a doubt end up being in support of it.

I'll tell you what'll happen when Trump becomes President (as with all major leaders of our politics AND the world can agree), Trump will get eaten alive when it comes to diplomatic and world conferences. He will contribute nothing to under-developed and natural disaster societies. He will point fingers the way he is now, except the repercussions isn't just a petty argument but risking shattering YEARS of built-upon trust between our country and others. He will be a FUEL and a MOTIVATIONAL ICON to enhance recruitment and resentment for Jihadist and ISIS cells, he will crumble under Putin's aggressive political agendas, and the US will solve NOTHING about our ongoing economic debt either.

Anyway. That's all my opinion. I could be completely wrong. Hopefully I am. Whoever becomes President, I hope it'll be for the better. Our votes don't even matter, btw. This is all facts lol. Anyway, I'm a US Military Veteran so whatever the outcome, I'll just be drinking beer, rifle in hand, flying on my bald Eagle and punching unicorns.

Thallen 10-22-2016 06:20 PM

nice @ trying to rationalize deleting thousands of documents that incriminate you for being irresponsible and lazy, accepting money (in exchange for favors) from countries that publicly stone women and gays, and bribing poor people into inciting violence at public events for the other side of the ticket

none of that has to do with "intel"
