Before I answer all of your questions, keep in mind that I joined Knight when they were at around 750 hrs and stayed in SON for a little bit before leaving. I would call myself a short-term member, since I stayed for about a month or two.

Relating to your first two questions concerning Arise, I honestly don't know. I haven't really cared too much about SON after I left.

With your next question, it depends on who the guild members are. If some of the members are Kate's friends, then they probably do know, but they just keep it a secret. This is just my opinion, and I haven't stayed in SON or Knight for a long time so I don't really know the right answers.

When they said that there would be no 1k, a lot of the hat chasers left, but I chose to stay — I didn't care about the hat anymore, I stayed to raise my pks and to chat with my friends. After Knight I stayed in SON for a little bit until I eventually got bored and left. I guess people are just desperate to get hats nowadays.

If you do think I wasn't in Knight, I do have some pics of me in Knight but they seem unclear (since I didn't take a pic of the guild roster back then and blablabla; like I would just be sitting there next to my friends and that's basically it. But you can ask people like Xer and Crystal who were also in Knight with me (you probably don't know who they are lol but Crystal's a sparrer) and they'll say I was in Knight with them.

Relating to your last question, overall, I guess they just do it either to get fame or to just get it done. I didn't take part in SON or any of their other guilds for a long time so I wouldn't really know the right answer.

I doubt any of the players who towered has any idea the reward for it is:

"Tower for Arise & oh wait only SoN family get hat for Arise. The ones who worked their ass off get a THANK YOU <3". Non-Soul of Ninjas family member messages Kate. *gets blocked*

Moral of Story: Don't tower endlessly pretending you're going to get a reward. Trust your instincts and others who tell you about a certain players history.
