Am I the only one who doesn't really use their desktop/taskbar for commonly used programs? I hit start and just search for everything. It means I can get anywhere I want through the using the keyboard.

you seen my screenshots? none are cleaned up, thats actually how it is :D

:) love it. My desktop is really just a temporary dumping ground for when I'm unzipping compressed files and that's about it.

Me as well, only time I use my desktop now is for quick saving things I'm working on or downloading stuff and then when I'm done I relocate everything.

You probably know this but for people who don't and use Windows 10, when you press the windows home key and it loads up the menu you can actually just start typing right away and it will automatically search what you type which is faster than having to open the search tab on your taskbar and then start typing.

It's also much faster than having to find something on your desktop especially if you a lot of stuff installed(if you are good with typing - type in the exact application name and then just hit enter which should take a second or two if you can type well).

This was a thing since Vista and you could do it on 8 and 8.1, in the same way you'd do it on 7, using Classic Shell. I use Classic Shell on Windows 10 aswell because the w10 start menu is ****ing HORSE****.
