I've been slowly watching Durarara the past weeks, I'm around episode 7, slow I know. I was planning on getting through it faster, but then I decided to watch RailGun after seeing Index long ago. All because of the Anime 2013 Battle thread on Crunchyroll.

RailGun first season is pretty generic, with an overload of cuteness and girls that are amazingly fun to watch, but I heard the second season is really really good with the Sisters Arc.

Durarara! is very good. I can't wait for the second season. How would you rate Railgun compared to Index? I was thinking of trying it since it sometime since I ended up liking both seasons of Index.

Season 1 was pretty good, kinda generic, nothing super about it that stands out, except the characters. Season 2 I heard is really really good, but I'm still in the middle of it. Season 2 has the sisters arc from Index, but adds a ton more detail and feels.

I'll have to give it a shot then. Maybe it will be the same for me when I watched with Index where I enjoyed the second season a lot more.

just got to Durarara episode 17. holy shet i see exactly how this ones going down.
right when i started losing interest in how the entire plot shifted towards the "slasher." I was disappointed thinking it wasnt going to tie back into previous plot, but it did!

So I finished Phantom: Requiem of the Phantom.

Holy **** that ending. Literally, god damn. Story was excellent, beautifully told.
Spoiler
Although, I don't like how they handle Cal and the Sisterhood of Assassins. I also don't like how they handled Elen, it's only implied that she killed herself. I also don't like how they didn't kill McGuire, you would think two of the best assassins in the god damn world, would be able to do that atleast. Despite these problems. ****ing feels man. I was surprised a team that did a anime based off a video game could do this.

Spoiler
Sycthe Master's death was extremely satisfying, Reiji's death was also well done, it would of been nice to see Reiji and Elen next to each other though. Assuming she kills herself of course.

Tell me someone has seen this. Someone tell me they understand my feels :'(

Probably going to have more feels later today too when I finish Nisekoi.

So where about eight episodes in for most of the spring shows. Which one do you feel is the best? Ill go with two shows in Hitsugi No Chaika and Captain Earth

GlazeyB 05-25-2014 06:55 PM

Bokura and No Game No Life were the ones that stand out for me this season.

Watching Dangan Ronpa, the first anime I've ever started watching. It's pretty interesting, it's about these freshman that get trapped inside a school and the only way to escape is to kill another freshman without being caught.

One week friends, cutest of the season.
No Game No Life, funniest of the season.
Gokukoku no Brynhildr, best action series of the season.

If we're including story, it's up there. Just a straight up action series though, this series is not.

Update: The wig no longer smells like a lake. It has been cleansed up its filth. I shall commence with trying on my cosplay.
