I honestly dont even see how the PK streak thing is a "problem" to anyone. It's not like having >40AP is cheating; it's a well-known mechanic. If you want to focus on PK streaking instead of total kill count, you just have to wait a few hours to get to 40AP, then use the same method other streakers are using. If youre mainly focused on total kill count, then having high streaks shouldnt even concern you. Its not like its even put on a scoreboard.

People might be saying "it's easy to get 400+ kill streaks," but I guarantee you that process is definitely tedious, and you would also be forced to be extremely cautious. It's not difficult to get trapped or get hit by an unexpected projectile.

I don't like having to go through an extra step to get to all the worthwhile stats. Streaks are fine, glad deaths aren't on there. Also having birthdays on there is a bit weird to me. I'd be more interested in seeing the date that the player began playing, as someone mentioned earlier in the thread, it could even be presented as a "graal birthday" if that's what the devs are going for.

Suggestion:
-Would it be possible to rearrange the Stats page into one column? That way your character and status could appear on all pages of the profile.
-Then allow us to choose the order of profile pages in settings.

I used to remember people by memorizing their stats. I guess I can't do that anymore.

yeah, swiping once to check people's stats is something impossible

Different set up does make it harder to realise who people are based on stats alone, I struggle to figure out who any of the people pming me are

oh man, I can't imagine thallen having to update his ranking stuff now. I remember I used to go through like 1000 profiles just to keep stuff updated. I literally memorized most of them, which is why I instantly knew if a random person pop out with high stats.

add options to choose between 2 formats : classic format (old profile and 2nd page will be the new stats they added)
new format (the new profile format you are seeing in graal right now)

This update will make a lot more sense if they do in fact add several new stats with NGS.

It's a problem to me because it's a fluff stat that encourages playing in a way that's both unnatural and unhealthy for the game. It makes sense on an economy server like Era where you're using items and healing and death has some form of consequence, but on Classic it's totally pointless. The way you can tell the stat is bad is by imagining if every player online was trying their best to beat the highest recorded streak - PKing wouldn't even be remotely fun in that world.

It's not a big deal though, I just think it's useless and that its existence alone is a detriment to the other stats that actually mean something. I do think if it's going to be kept that there needs to be a time limit on it (and in that case, the current PK streaks need to be reset because it's stupid seeing 1600+)

Agreed with thallen. When you look at past instances of the community exploiting poorly delivered content, (beg for mercy, CTF, etc;), it makes sense to think that the PK streak would be abused for whatever reason. It's not fun at all to grind for a hard streak, but it also ruins PKing. It's already flooded with people suiciding so others dont get points, so imagine if even more people start fleeing at 1hp for 10 minutes. Would ruin PKing.

IMO we should get like 3 more rooms in battle arena, but instead of regular spar they become "PK spar" (bushes, grass, mounts, bombs etc; allowed) and you'd be able to streak in this spar room. And wins/losses can go to a seperate stat called "PK spar W/L" (like eras system). There's probably a better name then PK spar but ya

Makes sense. That's exactly how I felt about the people who used to cram 50 players in a tight corner and brainlessly button-mash sword/arrows all day; yet for years those people argued there was nothing wrong with it *shrug*



@people in above posts complaining about stats not being on front page-^this would solve that. And I have the same issue-- have no clue who is talking to me without looking at their stats

I’ve always been interested in stats and even I’m not really too bothered by this
