Sarah gets the worst decision ever award.

Spoiler
switching into mixed for those hats, really?

Predictions for mixed;

1. Holy.
I feel as though their familiarity and camaraderie will finally push them through against the new-look alumni squad and the alumni rebellion. From when I've been at belle and seen them field a squad consisting of Brett/Aguzo/Zid/Dark/random they haven't lost often.

2. Alumni
Having the ability to pull 90% of gst participants off their gst team is definitely a good place to start. While adding/starting John, RM, and Sarah for losing or benching Eko/Skull/Dae would(in my book) be considered a small step back. Currently I haven't seen them field their starting lineup often.

3. Deicide
it will be interesting to see where they stand as a brand new team. I've only seen them compete a few times, and haven't gotten a good look at what they can do. But any team with Eko/Dae will be a strong team.

Sleeper: GTEAM(I haven't seen them practice as 5 much at all, and Xoss has been inactive from What I can't tell. But they always should be considered dangerous)

IDev:

1. Silver
I've seen some really strong showings from silver. While a few of their members I personally think need to pick it up, they have been competing together for years. Though since they don't have my man Kosiris this gst I would drop them from a 50% to a 35~%.

2. VIS
Another one of those teams that's had a strong core for awhile, but who I have no idea who they'll actually be fielding for the gst. If they field their best lineup and don't underperform I could see them taking it from Silver.

3. Alumni
Without their stalwarts Sarah and shiden, and the inactivity of Pkun, this is as high as I can place them. Wouldn't be shocked should they fall out of the top three, either. I put them here based on strong past showings and experience.

Sleeper: too many.

I obviously didn't do mixed for the hats but for other reasons. I always sparred in mixed and i sparred pcs all the time so I don't see a problem.

Our idev team can definitely win without me they are really good.

Strongest alumni yet imo

Zetectic 08-26-2016 04:28 PM

as long as thallen does 2-1 ratio hits, it's hard for alumni to lose and john isn't some random sparrer.

im just still bummed out that john ditched all of his 'friends' and the newest replacements. i thought he told us that he'd 'do gst with friends'. he just updated his friendlist and moved on.

This is why I dont do GST regularly. Friends turn their back on each other on a game to win what, a hat? Or the chance to actually not be a loser for once in their life? It's sad but yeah I've only done GST 2 or 3 times and it's always strictly friends even if they have no chance of winning. It's a flash game on the internet, it's not even in leagues with CoD or something, so what does winning g do for you?

Ready for XP....

yeah i bet john made some deep and meaningful relationships with his honest and friendly guildmates such as primetime
i can't imagine how he could just leave behind such great people in the interest of having fun and doing something new on a video game he barely plays

not to mention almost every one of them did the simple and logical move of taking 10 seconds out of their time to move to a new tag
**** you john

John Rocker 08-26-2016 05:15 PM

Hey bozo, it's not about John, I don't even know who John is, as far as I'm concerned the only true John is me. But if john did that he is just another example of this happening dozens of times a quarter

CoD? lmao CoD has about the competitive legitimacy of a sack of dirty rags. Last good CoD game was MW1.

If you ever find yourself in a position where you're constantly saying how little you care about something, it usually means you care quite a lot.

CoD isn't that bad chill :( it's fun to watch

Fulgore 08-26-2016 05:36 PM

I echo the sentiment that anyone who ditched a team they had already to join Alumni has lost some respect cause that's just lame. Not happy with my own team either over reactions to this whole thing. Overall GST just makes people go crazy and this time might be the most potent cancer yet.

Not really a fan of the series but there can be thousands of people watching any of of those games being played. Graal doesn't compare, you'll be lucky to have your bedridden grandma watch you spar, and she would probably be wishing she would just slip into a coma than watch that crap
