didn't want to post these in the guild fort thread because they're not really related to the purpose of that thread, so i'm making this.

some ideas i had that aren't damaging to the game in any way (rare in the future improvements section):

- Allow players to recruit players who are offline. If I really want someone to join my guild, why do I have to wait for a perfect time when we are both online?

- Allow players to create a customized invite message, rather than the generic "Would you like to join (Guild)?" message. This way, those who are sending the invite could include a reasoning behind the invite that makes the player more likely to accept it (you could make a point that you could just have a conversation prior to the invite but this is quicker and more convenient). Maybe add this to house, guild house, and summon requests as well.

- Add a "Message to all members" button. This way, a guild's leader could easily message everyone instead of going member by member and re-typing the same message. Somewhat similar to the guild news broadcast that everyone turned off.
More advanced: when broadcasting this message to the guild, create a checklist for each member you want to send it to.

and another idea that would majorly change the guild system, gets its own section because it could be controversial, idk:

- Allow leaders of guilds to decide whether to open their guild to the public or make them invite only. After this, maybe allow the guilds opened to the public to create requirements for joining? example: must have a minimum of 10,000 spar wins to join.

that's all i got for now, will probably add more in the future. got tired of thinking.

In which case, then there would need to be an option to turn that off, since people can spam. Unless a timeout for it were implemented, or you'd have to pay gralats to use it every time.

An actual guild house needs to be added, where players can have powers to place/buy furniture for the guild house. I don't want to bump all the guild threads.

i agree but this seems difficult

will further develop on the "message to all members" option since it seems kind of vague:
purpose:
for the leader to inform members about future plans and stuff, examples: "Hey, would you be able to do the GST with (Guild)?" or "Could you get online at (enter time and date here) to (take a tower, guild spar, etc.)?"
imagine all of the happy noob guilds too "hey guyz we will be meeting at 7pm to riot in front of the burger refuge"

I don't know how you think, so I don't like to assume. It's to prevent spam, cause I'm in a lot of guilds, that I either joined for gs/friends.

Unless people were only in 1-2 guilds, it would be fine.

It's good, since you can send offline members a mass message saying, "Towering starts at 00:00", or "Doing this at time".

There should be a restriction, or an option to turn it off (which basically defeats the purpose)... I mean, that's what guild news was for. I never have that on, because most leaders don't change their guild news 24/7... plus it's annoying whenever you switch tag *pop* guild news.

If you could filter the guilds that you want the guild news from, then that would be better.  

with the current guild news broadcast thing, it only sends that to members who are on that tag and just got online. not the same thing.

Ah okay, it wasn't in the op. Much better then. Better than guild news system at least. Maybe giving powers to other members, allowing them to use this "offline mass message" would be good for co leaders towering as well.

You mean like create your own guild logo? With fonts, letters, symbols, colors, etc?

That would be good, if that's what you meant.

Would reduce guild picture upload reviews, but hopefully people won't start drawing women and pictures of dicks like in CoD. Then they would need to add a report guild logo button

The leader-only message broadcast seems like a pretty cool idea to me.

Sending offline invites sounds good, only issue I could think of would be spam, but you could always set it that you could only send it once while they were offline.

Not sure about the open guild idea, would have to think more on how that would effect the system.

Giving the ability to change how your recruitment message was sent would be a nice touch, i don't know how many people would actually use it though.

Have always liked the idea of a house for the whole guild.

Just like the tile editor for guild house.

You would need another program, and know how to use that program. It's all more simple, when you can just do everything in-game, and not do so much work.

House layouts are saved, so you can switch from completely different layouts any time without moving so much around. Having the feature in-game boosts ratings.  

another idea:
add a "favorite guild" option and menu with these guilds for those who are in way too many guilds. we probably shouldn't be encouraging joining 100 guilds though.  

Never really used the guild system besides HK, but good ideas.
