HeadQuarters
I found this on my phone, it is incomplete but maybe somebpdy could build onto it?: 'HeadQuarters' is a basing idea similar to classic's towers, but more complex and meaningful. There is a HQ for each planet, i.e. one in Iricia. To attack a HQ, you will need to use a PVP Coin, and only Squad Members and allies of the squad can be part of the Attackers team, with the Defending team allowing the same players. If the Defending team's population is 5-10 less than the Attacking team, they can call Reinforcement NPCs to help from that planet (will be explained later). Some of the features of HeadQuarters are Classes, Reinforcement NPCs, stationary railguns, new guns, new weapons, There are 5 levels in each HeadQuarters, with a Power Station at the top (Level 1), with the Defending team spawning on Level 3(or)4 and the Attacking team spawning outside the HQ. The Average HQ game: 1. Transcendence attacks the Iricia HQ, owned by Obsidian! 2. There is a 60 second wait before the game begins. 3. Both teams choose their classes. 3.5. Obsidian decides to enable Iricia's 'SnowStorm' Natural Disaster. 4. Attacking team member Ryan manages to enter Level 2, sparring with Rotaruc, a Defending team member. 5. It has been 30 seconds since the game has started! Iricia's Natural Disaster 'SnowStorm' wipes out Level 2, sending Rotaruc back to his spawn and Ryan back outside. 6. Because most of the Defending team chose the Front Line class, Platinum, who chose the Advanced Squadron class, spawned on Level 3 and destroyed the power station. 7. ----- There were going to be 5 classes, and the natural disasters are different for each HQ, eg Iricia has the 'SnowStorm' Natural Disaster which deals 25 dmg to both teams, and choros might have a 'RainStorm' ND that slows movement on a level until it is activated again. Natural Disaster change every 30 seconds. The squad owning an HQ may get a 20% off all stackable items (hp restores, not guns and the like), and earn gralats every hour. |

On NPCs, are they buffed to have the exact same damages as players weapons or are like the npcs in missions?

im against the classes, im not a fan of those weapons or in mmo's of you can't go into combat with your favorite gun. I would rather see more of a aliens vs humans thing and classes can be the same for all the teams making one class thats more powerful than another class that the other team can not get to use. Thus giving the other team an advantage. Im more of a fan of the classes both teams can use, this way if one class is better than the others, at least the other teams can get to use those classes too. Medic Can drop medical packs that is thrown and recharges the persons health by double the normal regen rate until they are hit, medpacks will also disenagrate when the medpack on that players health is full then the med pack is destroyed and they may not heal. A medic is allowed to throw 1 medpack every time a medpack is destroyed/used up. weapons this class has Humans AP Pierces Aliens Plasma shooters (an AP pierce reskin more alien like). This class deserves a weak weapon since they can throw down med packs and double the regen rate of any player including themselves runs over the med pack. Support The goal of this class is too resupply the front line with ammo and to provide covering fire. The ammo packs can regenerate any ammo type for anyone who runs over the ammo box. Only one ammo box can be deployed at a time, once thrown, there is a 15 second regeneration. After that the ammobox is ready to chuck again. Once chucked, the old box vanishes and then warps to the spot where the new one was thrown down. Weapons Humans Chaingun Alien Plasma Chaingun This class would be run with heavy guns that can shoot out a bullet storm. This way your going to make the enemies have a much harder time to dodge the bullets, forcing them to go behind cover and stop shooting. Now i know most of you are thinking, but the chaingun is better than the plasma chaingun. Yes while the chaingun does deal an extra .5 damage, and has no blowback. The plasma chaingun with its blowback can be used as an escape tool. Using the blowback from that gun allows a massive speed boost whilst strafing backwards. Assault The goal of this class is to be on the front lines and clearing out positions so others can advance. Basically, the goal of this class is to kill. Weapons Humans GP Assault Rifle, grenade launcher Aliens Photon Rifle, plasma launcher (a reskined alien themed grenade launcher) The goal of this class is to give the Assault class an adaptive rifle that can do good in any situation. The photon delivers on this, the tapfire on this gun can make it excellent at close ranges while the slower auto fire can go great at long ranges. Most are thinking woah woah woah. The gpar is better since its more expensive. Thats where your wrong. the gpar is the exact same thing as a photon rifle. thats what the classes should look like. |

This idea still needs a lot of development.
Aliens against Humans will not work. That would be NPCs against Players, unless Zone releases some sort of race allocation (which would be very cool, but with customs I doubt it would work...). The different classes are (hopefully) balanced out, and are intended to mainly PvP against their opposing class ie. Advanced Squadron would fight Front Line mostly. While these are balanced and suit both classes, read the last paragraph I just wrote. Though that's only my opinion, and I may be wrong. |
