Base stratigies
The bases are a competive thing to do. Belive me some gangs take basing very seriously and thats all you will do if you join one of those gangs. Heres a strategy guide to help you base.
weapons
you will need 4 types of weapons for really good basing. Those weapons are, Primary, launcher, multi shot (pbp, shipkia, anything that shoots 2 shots), and a M1 carbine.
When to use
primary- use your primary as you would normally.
launchers - use to get people behind walls.
multishot - in large hallways, if you need to get a shot to a place where your primary can't, and to hit multiple targets.
M1 Carbine - as crazy as this sounds, this weapon is basing gold. The gun itself is bad, but it gets one huge advantage, ability to shoot through doors. These come in extreme handy if there is a person spamming a doorways. Just walk up to the door and shoot the M1, you can hit them but they can't hit you.
Blackholst [BH]
BH is close quarters combat and faster rifles win most of the time.
Attacking
First room.
First room there are 3 enterances. A couch that is most commonley used as a machine gun nest that bullets can not hit but the gunner can shot through it. This is where a bazooka will come in handy. Spam a bazooka against the couch flushing him out and making him out of cover. Charge through the lines.
Theres three entrances, roof, left door, and right door.
The roof is a great enterance for dropping some napalm on the positions as people camp near that area.
The right enterance can be walked into without breaking any doors. When entered into the room your put in the "death box". A death box is a enclosed area and is barricaded. In here you can throw grenades into the machine gun couch.
2nd room.
This room is small indeed. 2 doors and a area with 4 seats for people to spam the flag. Throw some napalm at that spot moving them out of that area. Then they will go for the center of the area. Throw napalms that will force them into the area by the enterance of the room. This is what i find to work best when ya cant charge through the lines. However they will move into the hallway by the table and dominate those areas.
Defending
1st room.
Spam using fast guns behind the couch and stay bac that way bullets wont hit you.
2nd room
FAST GUNS. Hug the 4 seats on the top part of the room. Stay there and your a much harder target to get than in the open.
Mafia.
Mafia zone is similar to BH. Only difference is that theres a left flank enterance. Only difference is BH is a square flag area. Mafia is a thin strip of flag area.
Attacking.
The main enterance is a bitch if theres a pk riot or a War. Why? Because you instantly are put into a overcrowded death box. Eventualy someone will always die infront of the door BLOCKING everyone and the bodies pile up in that area so more waiting to pass.
If there is one of those pesky gunners then use the secret enterance. You will find the secret enterance in the mafia left wing. By a melee shop in one of the window type walls inbetween 2 trees.
The secret enterance comes in great handy when someone is spraying the door to get out of the deathbox, and around the gunner. If you need more people to get through, kill the gunner. If your entire team is using the left flank, then avoid the gunner and use him to hold back those annoying pkers.
Flag room
Small areas with a lot of tables to use for cover. The right doorway by the bar is a weaker door due to if your in the bar you can shoot the guard whos meleeing the door. The right side will most likley have a gunner gunning the door so this isnt suggested. BUT there is a way to kill the gunner because it is in grenades range. So drop a few nades there so the gunner aint goin back there.
The left door is normaly easier. If your caught in a gun fire you can use the beds and get a quick 5hp restore. But the gunners there are untouchable with anything. Nothing will land a hit on them. If you have a riot shield or umbrella block the bullets and charge in.
In the small narrow strip SPAMMERS ALWAYS WIN. Use either a fast multi shot gun or a very fast gun and keep on shooting. Never stop shooting until everyone is dead.
Defending.
Easy base to defend. Go all out on the first room. Spam the deathbox door as this will rack up kills and block other attackers. Another person on the left side napalming the crap out of the box an weaking the left flank a bit. Have a back up gunner that will attack other targets who use the left flank.
Flag area use the tables for cover and try to combat attackers. This isnt a great part to defend. Only worthey spot is in another deathbox. Spam that enterance but make sure someone else is covering the right door.
In the strip set up a gun wall on the left side. Mafia is a treat to defenders because theres 2 beds. Beds will heal 5hp. If you want to double healing rate use 1 heart bomb on the bed and wait for the healing bounus. Thats basicaly all there is to mafia.
Blazing Bandits Zone [BBZ]
If small strips and close quarters is your thing. This is a excelent base to use. Small hallways, easy to defend, fun to attack too.
Attacking.
Theres two enterances. Similar to BH's enterances. I use the right enterance to avoid the small deathbox and everyonce in a while a gunner. Now bbz is noturious for easy defending. Small hallways to spam = easy kills. In the first room the most common one is in a small rectangle behind a wall spamming. This is not a easy spot to attack. The best way to beat a defender there is to go to the top wall and stick too it.
If that area is heavily defended then use the soda machine enterance. Fire a bazooka or grenade into the soda machines and you will find a hole in the wall. This is a secret room that i call the coffee room. Dont melee the vending machine because if it is destroyed it will deal 25 damage too you.
The coffee room will take you into the left strip of bbz. This is always defended heavily. So instead try to use the harder enterance. Why? So then you will enter the lowest part of the map. The right hallway is not defended as bad as the left. A main run will require to bust down the door with guns blazing that hall.
In the flag area napalm becomes a very effective attack method. Burn them up while they try to kill you. This place is a very crowded defending area and is easy to clear with napalms.
Defending
To defend bbz what i find best to defend is if one person with a powerful gun is spamming the coffee room. And someone else spamming the small box / defending spot.
Thats it for the 1st room. Do this and it should go smoothly.
Flag room.
Easy as hell to defend. 1 person Spam the lower, and right hallway, but 2 people spamming the left hallway thanks to the coffee room. Once one hallway is over runned spam stairs leading into the middle. This is the last defense get out of the middle as fast as possible or fraggers will go for you.
Tachi
A very large area basing experience. A few places to take cover. But a lot of space for gunners... But theres also a lot of spots for grenades :3.
Attacking.
Like bbz enterance. Left and right. Left spawns into a grage room. This is very handy for low hp in that room. If you got low hp die in there so you can respawn in that room. Left room your most likely to be meeted with a nice warm fuzzy gunner. Go around him and say "no thank you" for his hugs with his bullets. Instead give him a grenade. He will run away to the other room.
Next room is a left and right side. Take the right and get out a multishot gun. hug the right wall and slowley advance until the flag. Spam the flag with melees and boom.
Defending
Simple to do really. Go all out on first room. Spam the right enterance and put a gunner in the middle of the stairs letting NO ONE to pass.
The second room i stay in the larger area and spam the small hallway. If that fails i go into the strip and spam the strips of the flag area. Then weave back into the large area. Make sure theres a gunner on the left doorway so your not moving away from the defending area as much.
Gangster Zone [GZ]
the largest base in era. Super easy to defend and can rack up A LOT of money.
Attacking
The real resistance will not begin until the courtyard or the fourth room out of 6. Once in the fourth room or the courtyard, force your way into the 5th room.
The 5th room sucks to attack. Your most likley going to be greeted with a nice warm pair of gunners. Oh and get this you have no cover at all so placing boxs is wise. If you have a riot shield USE IT. The next thing your most likley to be greeted with is ANOTHER pair of gunners or a gun wall. But this time yo have a little bit of cover. Your best bet is to napalm out the left side of the box in the middle and advance down the left staircase. Go in guns blazing and what ever you do dont stop shooting.
Melee the door or ATM to get into the flag room. Finaly. If you take the ATM route well lookie here ANOTHER GUN WALL! Take the left side if you want. But your going to see another gun wall eventualy. The only cover your going to get is around the walls. Charge through both walls and clear the room. Once the room is cleared place a box behind you and hack away at the flag.
Defending
This base is so easy to defend. My record was vs 10 ebizou base people holding the base for 30 minutes solo.
The first thing to do in gz is place a box infront of the flag. The best way for attackers to take is to shoot the flag from a distance. If your soloing never leave the 6th room. Go into the back place 2 boxs just far enough to shoot through without breaking them and open fire at the ATM enterance.
If a lot of people are in the base then go into the 5th room. Make sure people have a gun wall at the enterance. Have a secondary gun wall and another one. If someone is at the table napalming you. NOW of days you can just run up to him and open fire through the wall. Or counter him. Once that is clear. ALSO one last great spot. By the defenders enterance (the counter in the gunshop) you could napalm the enterance for the attackers giving more support to your gun wall. Do this for a while and they will be running.
Gurrue zone [Emines]
This zone i hate it. Even though it makes a ton of money. I hate attacking it.
Attacking
Theres 6 rooms in this base. The third, fourth, and fifth, and sixth normaly where the fight begins. If you have a riot shield USE IT.
Third room
Spam your way up and stay away from the water. For some dumb reason graal wont allow you to shoot up the main water way. So your going to have to charge. Charge up go in guns blazing hot. Fast guns win this zone.
Fourth floor
Easy floor to pass. The right side is a box with a few cover go trough the middle of the right hand wall and go into a bedroom to heal and lead to the left. To get up the right side just take the elevator up.
The fifth room.
Small room and TONS of small strips to spam. If some idiot is in the turret box simpily run up to it and shoot the bottom corner. If your stuck go in guns blazing and dont die.
Sixth room.
Hi im the defenders and have a free gun wall, enjoy! Thats what i always think of this room. A resturant serving bullets. Because theres ALWAYS so many bullets flying through here. Napalms will do you no good. The defenders will just scoot back out of range. So what i do is run into the room with the computer and charge and attempt to go around them all. There honestly is no stratigie for this room. Just go in guns blazing.
Defending.
Pft, just go into the sixith room set up a gun wall by the right wall, and then go into the computer room and spam the enterance. You now got them pinned down in a corner.
Pirates Zone [PZ]
PZ is a fun base with a huge box to shoot in. Balanced attacking and defending for the most. The rooms that the definding happens in is the second and third.
Attacking
Simple RUN like a crazy guy past the door ways and into the 2nd room. Bust a napalm or two and bust down the doors into the third room. Now the third room. Take the left staircase down into the aquarium and get ready for a huge fight. Next is a narrow hallway set up a machine gun nest in front of it and shoot like crazy. Now this only last about 30 seconds before enemy reinforcements arrive.
So clear the hall way and the statue room. Place a box behind you at the hall way and hack away at the flag.
Defending.
This is easy to defend all you need is boxs. But first set up near the 2nd room doorway. If your overrunned retreat and shoot the stairs that the attackers will take. If your too lazy for that, set up a machine gun nest along the small hallway. Note its very narrow so 1 box does the trick. No one will pass until the go through you now.
Lethal
This base requires no attack or defending stratigies. It is over runned by flag rushing noobs and pbp and bar nubs. Go in guns blazing and good luck
