"have to complete quests" is an odd way to put it. You don't have to do them, they just give you contribution which is nice but not needed. I play on 'very high' settings, and it uses up to 3 GB of RAM. I recommend at least 4 GB of RAM to play the game.
In addition to +15 primary/secondary weapons, you would need +4 Ogre Rings, +4 mark of shadows, and +4 Witches earrings to even get close to 200. And that would take 10 billion+ silver, and you would have no accuracy or defense. Grinding only gets you ~1 million silver an hour. People generally won't kill you unless you try to steal their grinding spot or upset them. They get a harsh penalty for killing innocent players. I've gone afk in PVP zones overnight and nobody kills me. All the players with +15 gear are in the mediah region where the 50-56 mobs are, they aren't going to kill you over level 45 mobs, they have no reason to be there except guild quests. |

now that things have been settled and grinding spots are empty. im going back to black desert. I just finished downloading 22GB worth of stuff. Am I gonna no life it like I did in March? No, I don't think so. But this time I am definitely getting all of my chars to Lvl50+ and earn mad money. Basically trying everything that I couldn't try before. I kinda went back to Dragon Nest as well, so it'll be hard for me to spend many hours in this game, but grind spot empty = super ez to level up. |

MOTHER OF HELL!! I went back to this game to test out my new PC. I think they buffed the character and adjusted all the exps, skills. It was crazy fun killing monsters. Those actions and damage output were insane. I forgot everything, so I was pressing whatever I felt like and still owning solid red colorplated monsters. |

It's one of the least P2W MMOs I've played in recent times. You can obtain 95% of things in the cash shop without paying real money, and the remaining 5% are cosmetics or non-essential items. After about 3 months of experience, you should be able to grind gold so quickly that the cash shop becomes obsolete for any player that doesn't want to spend their paycheck on the game. If you actually intend to play the game competitively, be aware that it is extremely hardcore. It's the only MMO I know of without a hard cap on just about anything. Your character level, skill levels, and almost everything else is uncapped so there's basically infinite progression. The thing I like most about BDO is that it can be played as an active grinder, or it can be a game that you minimize to your system tray and keep running all day doing idle tasks. Either way, you can still progress. I've been AFK fishing for the past month and building wealth, but there will come a time when I'm interested enough in the game that I start playing actively again. I'd recommend the game to anyone who loves character progression. You don't have to follow any linear quest line either, you can level however you want. Just find something you like to do. |

All I've been doing is just levelling up my characters to 50. Which will be done in prob 2-3 days. |

You basically use CP to get Lodging housing in cities, each point of Lodging affords you 1 worker. Those workers can make you silver passively by gathering resources from the nodes 24/7. You have to give them beer to replenish their stamina, but cooking beer is one of the best ways to power level cooking anyway so it's fine. Keep the game running overnight and fish. Get a Balenos Rod (the most durable) and fish at Velia overnight. Connect Velia to Glish (costs a bit of CP) and when you wake up, autorun to Glish and sell all your fish to the Imperial Fish Trader. The ones left over, sell to the basic trader right beside them. I make about ~3m per AFK fishing run (takes 3–4 hours), but that's with around 50 open inventory slots. Grinding will always be the most efficient way to make money though. |
