I see that my name was dropped in the OP, so I feel it necessary to save face, since some people have been approaching me in-game asking me about this "list". While I agree that some names on that list are did a great job in their respective positions, we need to face the reality that they're just a piece of Era development history, and acknowledge them as mentors that taught those who are teaching our present generation. We shouldn't limit the list, or even label it as "ideal", because for all we know, the next best person could be lurking within anybody reading this post right now. It's inevitable for the baton to be passed. I'm one of about four first-generation(2002) Era players still around. If we shut out people that came after me, most of those mentioned on your list would have never gotten a chance to flourish. It's because we enabled them to join the ranks, learn, and practice their crafts to perfection that they achieved success. Their success paved the way for the next generation to succeed. Instead of masterfully devising a "hall-of-fame" of staff, I'd rather focus my energies continuing to train the next generation to hold the positions with the same zeal that the "hall-of-famers" did. It's for this reason that I put so much effort in my forum posts whenever I talk about gangs, guns, PKing, or basing. I'm very open in sharing my stance on these topics because I feel that it's my job to educate the next generation on my craft. It's my job to document and teach what has happened in the past, as well as the mission statements and ideologies that will keep the server flourishing in the future. It's very likely that these posts will be around longer than I will. If PKing or Guns on this server ever hit rock bottom, there will be a circle of people wondering how to improve PKing, what to do with guns, or what went wrong. Even if I'm no longer around, referencing my posts would be enough of a starting point to jump the engine, get it going in the right direction, and provide the tools to keep it going in the future. In regard to my conversation with DK, I mainly pointed out fallacies I see in guns today, and publicly touched on most of those in a thread on era-go. Below is a citation for anybody interested in reading further. http://era-go.com/forum/showthread.p...losive-weapons
