I don't really see a reason to not add it in some facet; Aguzo's suggestion of making you be able to turn them in for points instead would work quite nicely. It doesn't make sense to not include more facets of the game into the new guild system, why would you leave some players out when there are options available? This even is a win for the competitive community, because if people see that they could earn more points by doing competitive activties they'll switch, since catching bugs is a slow process (and would become even slower if they were worth points, since there would be more competition). It could become a gateway of sorts. |

If they were to add the more casual activities to the points system, then maybe it wouldn't have the same effect. *to bring in more competition for these dying activities* |

Anyone can kill baddies, it really doesn't take any skill to get on the baddy leaderboard, its more based on how much free time you have. Which is why it would be cool if new baddies with different rarity/levels of skill were implemented into the new Ngs system. For example at destiny they have the lizardon which is definitely the hardest baddy to kill, so that baddy should obviously give more points then just your standard green baddy/bandit/pirat. But maybe they could even add a more difficult baddy then that into the playerworld that even gives more points. Basically to make bking more of a challenge and skill based then just how much free time you have in a day.

On a side note, the mission to fight bats and crabs, while the required numbers are much lower, might be considered the average or standard due to the difficulty of hitting the damn things... you would still have to be pretty lucky or skilled at catching bugs with the current spawn rates to make more than 1000 gralats worth in the equivalent amount of time. |
