I know exactly what you're feeling. A few years ago I was around 74in and 145-150lbs, and it killed me trying to eat more than 1800 calories a day, I'm now 205lbs and am eating 4 full meals a day. My tips are:

1. Start off by making sure you eat 3 consistently timed meals everyday if you aren't already. This puts your body into a pattern of expecting food at certain times of the day, and you'll get hungry when if you don't follow that cycle.

2. Don't waste your time worrying about what you eat early on. If you don't enjoy healthy foods avoid them for now. Just eat things you enjoy, it'll make it way easier for you to get into the habit of eating more food. Once you get up to a healthier weight focus on eating clean.

3. Count your calories. You are going to be full pretty much all the time, and sometimes you will assume you have eaten a bunch because of that, when really you have only had 2500 calories that day. It'll keep you accountable.

4. WORK OUT. If you are going to be putting on anything over than 10lbs and don't want to be fat and slightly less skinny, start lifting weights or doing some form of bodyweight exercise.

5. It takes awhile to healthily put on weight. Stick with it.

This thread is so bait, isn't a simple as 'Eat More'-Obviously that is part of it, but that's like saying to a fat person run a marathon with no training.

People's metabolism are different, I'd suggest making sure you eat something every 3hrs(morn-before bed)Even if just a little snack bar,
Also try stay off fizzydrinks etc that don't help with metabolism, water(while working out) and milk(when not) are great for building up weight.


Try to binge eat abit like pick a certain day say Friday where you don't need to eat healthy binge on big takeouts etc -So you get used to eating more but helps put on bit of weight -Then go gym/workout and build that weight into muscle. Repeat process, stuff like this doesn't happen overnight or in week, takes awhile and to be committed fully to it.

Don't listen to anyone else in this thread. Lifting weights will just make you too tired to chew. Instead convert to veganism. Lawn yard grass is CHOCK full of nutrients.  

it sucks having high metabolism but you cant eat anything you want because you have to go through acne

Don't just stuff your face with fatty, unhealthy food. Instead, try eating calorie dense foods such as nuts or seeds. These are high in protein and will help you gain weight, and you don't have to eat a lot of them.

If you can't eat big amounts at once, make a balanced meal plan. This will increase your metabolism and make you more hungry.
A 6 meal a day program would work in this case:

Small breakfast (Breakfast in important because it starts your metabolism for the day). If you like peanuts, peanut butter on toast is great. If you can't stomach it, I would recommend protein shakes. (Aim for 250-350 calories)

Morning snack, stick to something light, even a piece of fruit will do. (Aim for 50-100 calories).

Lunch: Have something basic like a sandwich or whatever you want. Again, keep it light, stay away from fibre. Fibre is hard to digest, and will stay in your stomach for longer, making you fuller for longer. That's why you're so full after that granola bar, people use them for losing weight because they're full of fibre. (Aim for 250-350 calories)

Afternoon snack: again, light. A good choice here would be a handful of nuts. (Which is around 160 calories alone)

Exercise is ideal between these two meals.

Dinner: This will be your biggest meal, but I suppose this depends on where you're from. Don't eat too late, or it will be hard to eat in the morning. (Aim for 500+ calories)

Evening snack: Have something that is easy to digest. Bananas are great before bed, they contain magnesium and potassium which help relax your muscles. (100-150 calories)

Gaining weight isn't about stuffing your face, that will just make you sick of food. If you want muscle, stick to a high protein, low carb diet if you can.
Despite this, I wouldn't worry about it too much. It may just be matter of moving around more and eating the right foods.

BINGE EATING FAST FOOD IS TERRIBLE ADVICE. I used to do this and wonder why I wasn't gaining weight after I ate an entire pizza the day before.

1. At most you will be able to consume 1500 calories in one sitting, and thats if you are torturing yourself. You are not going to be able to eat most of the calories you would previously consume in a day in one meal, plus more throughout the day.

2. Its not going to get your body into the habit of eating more food because you barely will be, you'll just be eating more in one sitting.

3. Fast food is gonna hurt for a few reasons, Firstly its expensive as hell when you eat it regularly, Assuming you are under 18, you don't have the money for that. If you are over 18 you should be responsible enough to realize that's a horrible way to spend your money. And secondly it is terrible for your health, there will be no good that comes from eating it on a regular basis.  

I drink milk with every meal. I've started a routine meals, b, l, and dinner. I started eating healthy rather than fast food and junk. Ill try to stay away from pop. Thank you guys for the help!

Also something funny(im not sure if its related or not), the other morning I was out in the cold. My fingers go white, and my hands act funny. It was super cold, and when my friend hit them, after a while they started turning purple and orange. I though that was pretty weird and funny.

im *age isnt important now* but im really skinny. I have scaley skin(idk how to explain) and I wanna gain a little bit of weight. I hardly eat though and dont eat alot. Please help.

Eat a lot and EXERCISE. The reason you dont eat much is probably cuz u dont exercise.

Back when I was around 115 and 6' all I ate was fast food and processed garbage. I always felt like ****. Eating healthier has seriously helped increase my weight.
