they're not bad, I would work on the shading. You are pillow shading, mostly I noticed on the hammer where you just use darker colors and work you're way in. It looks unrealistic. Choose a light source, I almost always use a top left light source and work your way outward. ex. this is the back of a hat I made recently and shows the shading well. http://i47.tinypic.com/2evgod1.png (Unsupported image host) you can see I used the left top-mid for my light source and i dithered my way across. Also your colors look dull and desaturated maybe use different colors or you can cheat and just use the saturation slider when you're done to make it look more colorful. |
