rename your .png/.gif files and add '.jpeg' at the end so it would be something like this: "basilsmisery.gif.jpeg"..
upload it and voila.. you have yourself a transparent(or even gif !!!) guild picture.. :-)

it only takes jpeg files which aren't transparent

it will work either way, as long as you have '.jpeg' added after the the picture's format

The "firework" softwear is the best softwear to create logos, it also allows you to change the background of your logo to a transparent one.
