Pretty sure they were in place to fix the issue of entering/exiting a level too fast which caused your client to stop getting data from the server. I know that even though I don't play very often, before it was fixed it was happening 1-3 times a playing session(of only probably 10 minutes or so) so it was fixed. However the glitch that this warping is trying to compensate for is caused by lag, so if it's happening to you more than others you may be lagging. Basically if you enter a level(like the inside of a house) and then exit the level before the data has loaded, **** can go wrong. I think the script tries to detect very fast level changes in quick succession. *shrug* I don't know of the specifics, but the more accurate/specific you are about what happening when you were warped, the easier it is for them to trace the specific occurrence to a script. |

However take what I say with a grain of salt, I have no idea why they're truly warping players or if it's to fix what I assume it's trying to fix. All of this is just my observation. |

i believe the warp script thats cossing this issue is if you enter a building, rapidly. aka trying too stop the data flow intentionally, you'll be warped back into the building, (i don't know the x,y of each level warper.) with an NPC message that reads "please do not attempt to glitch!" i think, if your abnormaly laggy, when you exit, the data flow isn't very strong and it might make the warper think the client is attempting to glitch, just a hunch, but, i feel that may be what's cossing it. |
