I'm not quite sure. Life may not be the definition of existence. I believe some things in the universe are left unexplainable to the human mind, and I believe this dark matter debate is really just the shadow of another dimension, and is not comprehensible to human consciousness, and that it holds whatever answer is out there. Maybe a theory of gravity can explain our existence. Or we're just robots. We're just creatures with instinct and tendency, driven by a sense of sight, smell, touch, sound and taste, with only a destiny to illude us from the truth. Or our intelligence allows us to grasp that higher meaning, but prevents us to understanding it. You might consider that higher meaning a soul if you want to, or there's a scientific explanation that's completely disregarded because of the belief in the first sentence of this paragraph.

I've been thinking -- does the ability to consciously change your own brain chemistry grant, and prove, the ability to choose, versus metaphorically being a robot? Is this the key to true artificial intelligence? Once robots are given the ability to change the system in which they perceive, analyze, and act, (so probably an algorithm), do they suddenly receive consciousness? This would likely mean consciousness is part of an external influence on human action, and would mean we do, as I said, allow ourselves to exist by pure decision. Well, theoretically, at least. |

Honestly, just take about 5+ grams of Magic Mushrooms and all your answers will be solved. You literally will ask a million questions in ur head and answer them all. Time will not make jack sense and mean absolutely nothing. Words will mean nothing, it's crazy and I recommend you to try since your really into all this meaning of life stuff. just make sure you don't do anything crazy and have a sitter lol. Anyways, bye ~ : )

I was thinking again, as usual I guess. I think I figured out that personality is what causes people to be deeply interested in philosophy/sociology, and even psychology, almost like an obsessive passion. Well, let's not make it so simple. Intelligence is a catalyst, and personality is a direction of interest. When someone witholds different personality characteristics, those traits clash, causing you to behave with hesitation in every move rather than to be decisive, and as to not be a hypocrite (hence the intelligence part), the only solution is to develop a systematic set of guidelines and observations that you review in every decision. However, as you learn, you make constant changes to that "personal guide of decisiveness." I've always wondered how others' theories actually fit together as one, such as Lockes theory on socialization or the self mirror theory, and I think this one ties it all in a knot. This theory can also explain interests in other subjects I suppose. I know this doesn't really relate to what I call the "Adam and Eve theory," which I sort of explained in the OP, I wanted to post it somewhere. |
