I don't believe that there is a limit... but I've never heard of anyone catching 100K... btw, are you sure that spending all that time catching them will be worth it? Some bugs are just as easy to catch (but might be out of season) and have a higher price.
If there's no limit then it'd probably be 2,147,483,647
If there isn't a limit set on purpose, then he is right. Because Graal is running on a 32bit machine. This counts for everything that is being counted (let it be some scores, kills, money, ...)

Would the wins just stop counting? Would the queue button not work?
3 likely options - stop counting, break something horribly, or rollover back to 0 and keep counting. If reaching the max value of a 32-bit integer isn't handled then the 2nd option would happen, otherwise if they did handle it I would expect the most likely thing they'd do to handle that would be options 1 or 3.
