Recruiting Center
This idea just came to me so I haven't thought this through really, I just wanna throw this idea out there. I think it would be interesting to have a building dedicated for guild recruiting. A leader of a guild would sort of set up a hiring paper that people looking for a guild to join could read over and decide if they wanna join this guild. Any thoughts? As I said before this just came to me and I haven't really thought much about it. So don't post something like, "You dumbass someone already suggested it!", or "Pfft this idea would never work stupid!" |

Pretty good idea. There are always people looking to join a guild. Although it could be abused with papers saying "Looking for sl***y chicks and dirty men." The guild could also have a category for their application being towers, spar, socializing, or other.

They could remove that pointless school in Onnet and replace it with this.

I really think they should add it in a more populated area that people actually go to or else it will be forgotten or unknown. I think it should be in one of the buildings in Graal City or something of the sort where everyone can easily get to it.

If it were to be put in Onnet town people would hang out in that area more. Yes, I'm an Onnet activist(anyone else remember that movement?)

5 steps ahead of you. Zanza already has one of these set up and working lol. As much as I love our new system, I can't really see this working too well for Graal. Like Tyler said, people would use it for bad purposes. @TheTraveler staff already monitor uploads, host events, and patroll and respond to reports. Above all that, try to make more content. Having someone monitor those applications is just more work to do. But I don't disagree with this thread about there being a recruitment center. Like the school and adoption center, guild leaders and their prestige could verbally advertise there for their guilds. It would help active guilds in need of recruits for towering, guild sparring, etc. This way, there would be less people crowding graal city spamming for recruits and may instead search in the recruitment center.

You could have the same basis idea, but you need to move stuff to eliminate the trouble. From my point of view, have the system work like the graal police station(player controlled- you said) BUT instead of the papers, just have the player do 3 simple taps(Player-->More options-->View Guild). And have seats that they can sit in ONLY if they have a tag(a simple copy & Paste from castles of scripting for this really) but have a 10 minute timer and the player is forced out automatically(yes the player can freely exit this seat)(this seat piece is so other players cannot go over your body and cover your text/words or body). Maybe even just 5 minutes to keep from having players just sit in it without letting others sit in it while the player does nothing. And set it up like a market where it is 2 long rows(not super long, but like 2 rows by 8 columns.(Even if the seats didnt have the one per person+timer mode it would still be really good).

@Blueh They would have to hire more people for monitoring the recruit center. What's wrong with more work? It takes work to maintain a server. You don't work because it's easy or fun. |
