Ok so I switched to an Android after changing carriers and here are my first impressions.
They are a lot weirder to use IMO especially if you really want to go all out and personalize your phone like I do. The interface can be a little intimidating at first but I eventually got used to it.
I feel they give way more freedom to how you can customize your phone than any vanilla iPhone.
BUT.
That sort of comes at a cost. One thing I did notice is that you really need to pay attention to safety when it comes to using Androids.
Being the little sheltered Apple pleb, I kinda underestimated the sheer amount of malware some of these apps can pack. Hell, it got to the point where I needed to install some anti-virus protection for my ****ing phone which I never though I'd have to do.
It kinda makes me miss my old jailbroken 5C since I feel it had the best of both worlds. Great user interface, highly customizable, and a hell lot safer.
So basically if there's anything to gain from this post, its to buy an iPhone and jailbreak it.
