iZone

I heard it sucks balls, if that be true then my prediction from 3 months ago was correct and I am a genius

It's amazing actually

poorface 12-20-2012 01:59 AM

I like it.

iZone is panning out exactly like iEra did when it was released. About the same playercount on average, the majority of people being regulars from classic and era, and most people criticizing it for not having enough content. I think it will turn out fine once the dust settles. The most important thing right now is that it needs to establish its own unique community.

Sammich 12-20-2012 02:00 AM

Well all there is to do is repetitive missions, pk in overcrowded tight spaces, or do pvp games. I'm sure it will get better over time.

The Doctor 12-20-2012 02:01 AM

The problem with era is that it's not really an RPG. You don't have as many quests or missions. iZone is doing this fine. That's why I think it's great and it has potential.

Sammich 12-20-2012 02:04 AM

Zone has no storyline, and 3 repetitive quests which are: shoot this and win.

The Doctor 12-20-2012 02:05 AM

Potential.

We have a good staff team. I'm sure we'll get surprises in the future!

Sammich 12-20-2012 02:06 AM

You said it was already great.

It has A PVP arena, and PVP events as well. I also heard talk of them implementing squad spar arenas soon, so if they can consistently flesh these things out (as in adding more missions, planets, and balancing the leveling system) it can easily stand on its own. You need to take into account how little content iera and iclassic had upon release.

Sammich 12-20-2012 02:08 AM

I find that most of this stuff should have been implemented before the game got released.

Another thing that is making it like the first days of iEra is that one of the four currently available non-starter weapons is asserting a lot of dominance over the others. Hopefully it doesn't grow into balancing issues like it did in iEra. The best thing to do in order to keep weapon balancing stable once more weapons get in is to tackle the first balancing issues to rear their ugly heads.

You're expecting something like a non buggy game with all of the features and no updates in the future? Wait for some updates.

Sammich 12-20-2012 02:12 AM

I was expecting more content in it, yes. I believe it was released too early.
