getting a new laptop,is it worth it?
 

so my current laptop is outdated, and i've been searching for a new one and i found this one but im not sure if its worth the price,I'd appreciate if someone that knows anything about computer components can tell me.

Memory: 8 GB DDR4 RAM
Display: 15.6" FHD Display
Graphic: 4GB GTX 950M VRAM
Storage: 1TB HDD

price: almost 1k dollars

Those are pretty good specs, what currency do you use, and what do you plan on using it for?

It's a good laptop for the price and good gaming specs

if possible slap an ssd in there and it'll be fine

Why not buy a desktop for more flexibility? You can upgrade parts of it then, and if part of it breaks you won't lose the whole unit in one go

Be sure it does not get hot really quickly. The laptop I use, I have to stack it on top of a couple of books for the fan can vent air out.
