Players should be provided with exact reason for com bans and other punishments
 

Kind of common sense and any half decent games does at least that much. It's quite telling when so many players experience it and then aren't sure exactly what it was they said or did.

It’s been a long time but I do recall being able to email toonslab for more detailed info about my ban situation, and they responded

I’m too lazy to open my email right now but I have two from 2012 and 2013 that tell me what I was banned for. Support was much more responsive then.

Multiple bans and shadow comm bans are wrong. Tell these players what they’ve done. There’s a text box on the ban screen specifically for ban reasons. Use it. Tell comm banned players in a pm or something ingame to tell them what they’ve done. How can a player be expected to change their behavior if they don’t know what they’ve done? Of all the people I’ve known to be comm banned or say words-that-will-get-you-banned most of them can only speculate what they’ve done. How is that fair?
