Basically, there's a semitransparent black rectangle on the top-middle that doesn't let me tap on anything under it. What can I do about it? Btw it appeared after activating joystick movement. I disabled it and it's still there. It even covers half of my head.

It's the new PM system. New PM's will show in the rectangle. You can disable it in options menu when you click your player and click edit.
